On Thin ICE

Modern vampire myths conjure visions of sinister beings who siphon the very essence of life, echoing the chilling tales from Eastern European folklore where the undead sow terror, devastation, and death across villages. Provoked by the very wicked forces invading our homeland, I recognize how, even now, we encounter predatory, masked figures armed and cloaked in dark uniforms—resembling horror film antagonists—who snatch innocent souls from their communities without warning or reason.

These figures wield the formidable authority of government. They are the living embodiments of evildoers, lurking among us, their presence as menacing and as real as the monsters of myth.
